After stepping away from the Caryl fandom since season 10 and watching these first six episodes of season 11, I can see why the Caryl ship is no longer popular with the general audience. Starting to think my whole 6 years shipping them was just a delusion. There’s just… Nothing. Literally nothing. It’s like the writers don’t give a single shit about their friendship anymore. The caryl spin off means nothing apparently. I’m starting to even like Leah and Daryl’s relationship. Sigh.

I’ve been binge watching Outlander for the past month which has been a great distraction from TWD hiatus. Jamie and Claire are the perfect romance TWD never gave us with Caryl. Kinda lost hope on that ship idk. Don’t think I’ll be active here for season 11. The Daryl Dixon origins sounds like a fucking mess from what I’ve seen on twitter. Do they even mention Carol at all? Lol. Am I Impatient for giving up on Caryl to happen after sticking with this show since late 2014? Do I care?
Sorry Caryl fam. Ditching the Cherokee roses and zombie guts for Scottish kilts and magic stones was one of the best things I did this year. Try it out, if you’re tired of TWD nonsense.
